Mathieu Joffre is a PhD student in management sciences under a CIFRE agreement with Scalian, supervised by Dr. Pauline de Becdelièvre. His thesis, titled “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Competencies: The Case of Consultants,” explores how AI transforms skill development and professional practices in the consulting industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Sociology of Digital Uses and a Master’s degree in Organizational Consulting and Human Resources. Alongside his doctoral research, he serves as Scientific Officer within Scalian’s Research & Innovation department, contributing to applied research projects. Over the past years, he has investigated technology adoption, transformations of work, and competency management through field-based and action-research approaches, aiming to bridge academic knowledge and operational challenges in consulting organizations.
