Yannick Perez was born in 1971 and took his Master's degree and PhD in economics at University La Sorbonne in France.
He became assistant professor at University de Cergy (2000-2003) and tenured associate professor of Economics at University Paris-Sud (from 2003 to 2019).
Since February 2012, he joined the Armand Peugeot research chair on Electromobility as Research Fellow.
In June 2015 he became HDR.
In 2016, he get the PEDR Award for 4 years.
