Mounira Nakaa and Laura Lebastard, PhDs in international economics at Paris Sud University participated to various summer schools. Mounira participated to the summer school “Aggregate Productivity, Misallocation, and Firm Level Data” at the CEMFI in Madrid from 24 to 28 August. The main purpose of the course is to understand the effect of firm-level frictions on the efficiency with which resources are allocated across productive units and their impact on aggregate productivity. Laura particiapated at the London School of Economics Methods Summer Programme “Tools for Macroeconomists: The Essentials” from 17 to 21 July 2015. In the morning, the lecture was about perturbation and projection methods, sunspots solutions or Blanchard-Kahn conditions, and the afternoon was devoted to computer sessions.
