Research on the strategic management of knowledge and intangible assets and technological innovation, especially:
- The management of intellectual property rights
- The diffusion of innovations and technological standards
- Innovative Entrepreneurship
- Relations between innovation and tradition
- Innovation in the health sector
I have taught a wide range of management subjects, including organization theory, production management and international logistics. However, most of my teaching focuses on innovation management, intellectual property rights management, entrepreneurship and business strategy. I also provide training for professional audiences, mainly in innovation and intellectual property management, notably through IEEPI and the Impulse/RIST network.
I attach great importance to disseminating research-based knowledge through a wide variety of channels, including books, professional conferences, videos, websites and blogs.
From 2009 to 2015, I served as Vice-President for Corporate Relations at Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, before taking on similar responsibilities at Université Paris-Sud from June 2016 to December 2019. Together with Maryline Marin, I also coordinated the steering committee of the Paris-Saclay Entrepreneurship & Innovation Cluster (PEIPS) from 2014 to 2017. From 2020 to 2026, I served as Director of the Graduate School of Economics & Management at Université Paris-Saclay.
I am the author of Management stratégique des droits de la propriété intellectuelle (Gualino, 2007) and Technologie, Innovation, Stratégie (Gualino, 2009), as well as around forty articles in academic journals and book chapters on innovation management and intellectual property rights management. I also co-edited, with Christian Le Bas, Les nouvelles fonctions du brevet – Approches économiques et managériales (Economica, 2011).
