The Master of Economics is a two-year general research training in economics. The first year (M1) is certified by ENS Paris-Saclay and the second year (M2) by Paris-Saclay University, in cooperation with AgroParisTech, CentralSupélec and University of Evry-Val d’Essonne. The program focuses over two years on:
- Fundamental knowledge in microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics in M1
- Discovery courses (big data mining, environmental, experimental or gender economics) in M1
- Electives courses (network economics, urban & regional economics, political economics) in M2
- A master thesis supervised by a faculty member in M2
The program is a demanding training entirely in English, and requires strong knowledge in quantitative methods. It benefits from an exchange network with 6 partners in Europe: University of Barcelona, Humboldt University of Berlin, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, University of Bologna, University Carlos III of Madrid, and University of Porto.
Students should hold a bachelor either in economics or in mathematics. Other degrees in sciences and social sciences from best universities will be considered.
