Marie-Cloé Dugain: A new Assistant Professor of Management at RITM

Marie-Cloé Dugain joined RITM, Université Paris-Saclay (IUT Sceaux), in September 2026 as an Assistant Professor of Management.

Marie-Cloé completed her PhD in Management Sciences in 2025. Her research focuses on self-employment and intermediation mechanisms, including umbrella companies and digital platforms. She examines how relationships between client organizations and self-employed workers extend beyond a simple client–contractor relationship. She shows that these collaborations are embedded in broader networks of intra- and inter-organizational relationships, raising important questions about the evolving roles of organizational actors, particularly the HR function.
