To close the TRANSCALE research project on “Better information to transform food behavior,” which was awarded the MSH Paris-Saclay label in 2022, Lydiane Nabec and Stephan Marette co-organize an interdisciplinary workshop on the challenges and limits of environmental labeling.

This workshop will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the AgroParis-Saclay campus, from 9 AM to 2 PM.

The program will span Economics, Management, and Public Health and tackle the following questions that are crucial for policymakers:

  • How can we guide consumers toward more environmentally friendly food choices?
  • How can we inform consumers about food products’ environmental impact and nutritional quality?
  • How can standardized nutrition labeling be deployed at the European level to meet public health challenges?
  • Are nutritional warnings more or less effective than Nutri-Scores?
  • What trade-offs do consumers face between their health and the environment?
